ZINES at Prism Spaces

About the Open Call

Prism Spaces is hosting an open call for zines of any subject matter. Selected by curator Savanna Rita, the zines will be displayed at Prism Spaces (1212 N. Ashland Ave, 2nd floor) from January 12th to April 27th, 2026. Artists retain 100% of their sales proceeds, with payments made via Zelle or cash. Selected artists will be notified by December 22nd, 2025. Prism Spaces and the curator are granted permission to photograph work for promotion and are released from liability for damage or theft.

What is Offered

100% commission on all sales, gallery display space, and promotional photography.

Requirements

Artists must be based in Chicago and able to physically drop off and pick up their zines at the venue. A maximum of five zines can be submitted per artist.

How to Apply

Interested artists should complete the online submission form, uploading images of up to five zines along with their titles, sizes, and prices. A digital signature is required at the end of the form to agree to the terms.
