About the Open Call

Designed with artists and creative women in mind, Yellow Residency seeks to facilitate and support art-making, writing, app-developing, poetry-making, and graphic designing. The residency provides private or semi-private studio space in an 11’ x 15’ studio, exhibition and programming opportunities, and foster creativity, collaboration, and connection. Residents are expected to engage with the community through talks or workshops and pay a monthly studio fee.

What is Offered

1 to 3 months of private or semi-private studio space, exhibition and programming opportunities, and Supporter Membership benefits.

Requirements

Open to women of all backgrounds and generations. Residents must prepare at least one talk, presentation, or workshop related to their project and pay a $200/month studio fee.

How to Apply

Submit a Statement of Interest including project goals and community engagement ideas, an Artist Statement and Bio, Resume, and 5-10 work samples to tina@yellowstudiony.com. The $50 application fee must be paid via Zelle to the same address.
