WORD GOT OUT, hosted by wordtaffy.com, is a creative mixer and dance party for artists and cool people. This event is more than a night out—it’s a full-on artist mixer meets dance party made for creatives, cool people, and anyone looking to connect, move, and just vibe out. Whether you're a painter, poet, designer, dancer, writer, filmmaker, or just got good energy —this is your scene. This night is dedicated to artists, offering limited $7 tickets with proof of art at the door (a photo of your work is perfect). The event will feature Hip-Hop & RNB music all night, free drinks (while supplies last), and curated thrift finds for $5 and under. Shop local and support artists. The location is in Humboldt Park, just next to Wicker Park, with street parking available. This is your space to network, find your next collab, or just dance with people who get it. Requirements

Attendees must be 21 years or older with a valid government-issued ID at the door. For the $7 artist ticket, individuals must be a creative (visual artist, writer, photographer, dancer, musician, designer, etc.) and show proof of their work at the door.

Creatives can purchase a limited $7 artist ticket by showing proof of art at the door (a photo of your work on your phone, a portfolio, or an IG screenshot is acceptable).
