About the Open Call

The 55th edition of AAP Magazine encourages photographers to celebrate all the important things women do through a cohesive body of work or portfolio. The subject is open and can include fashion, nude, documentary, portrait, sports, fine art, or commercial photography. Any capture method, whether digital or analog, is welcome. Winners will have their work published in the printed magazine and showcased in an online gallery.

What is Offered

$1,000 in total cash awards (1st Place: $500, 2nd Place: $300, 3rd Place: $200), publication in AAP Magazine #55, a free copy of the magazine, a permanent showcase in the online Winners Gallery, and extensive international press coverage.

Requirements

Open to all individuals aged 18 and older, including professionals and amateurs. Images must be JPEG/JPG format, 72 dpi, flattened layers, under 2MB, with the longest dimension not exceeding 1,200 pixels. Images previously published in AAP Magazine are ineligible.

How to Apply

To apply, creators must first register a profile on the All About Photo website, log in, and upload their photos to their gallery. Once entries are complete, the application is finalized through the payment process. A maximum of 40 images can be submitted.
