Woman Made Gallery
Produced by Off the Page: Poetry Reimagined, Issue 2: Bodies Luminous is a literary arts magazine that becomes a gallery exhibition. The project is inspired by Diamond Forde’s poem 'fat girl Dances with a Stranger at a Block Party.' The exhibition seeks artwork that celebrates the body and embraces expressions of joy, acknowledging the complicated and evolving relationships we have with our physical selves.
Inclusion in a gallery exhibition and literary magazine. Art sales are facilitated with a 40% commission retained by the gallery. Media players, projectors, and monitors are available for a limited number of new media works.
Open to women and non-binary artists including transgender women and femme-identifying genderqueer artists. Artworks must be under 75 lbs and within 6 feet horizontally. Works must not have been previously exhibited at Woman Made Gallery.
Submit via Submittable. Artists may submit images of up to three works. New media works require a sample .mp4 or URL under 10 minutes. Artists must address the exhibition theme in both their work and artist statement.
