About the Open Call

The Bowness Photography Prize is a landmark art prize championing photography as an artform. Entries are accepted for still photo-based media including analogue and digital photography produced within the last year. The prize offers $50,000 for the winner, $2,500 for two honorable mentions, and the $10,000 Wai Tang Commissioning Award for a selected finalist. Shortlisted artists receive loan fees, industry partner discounts, and the opportunity for their work to be exhibited.

What is Offered
