About the Open Call

Boleskine House invites artists to submit 2D works for a group exhibition exploring continuity, renewal, and the forces that persist through decay, silence, and change. The exhibition seeks work reflecting on the endurance of place, memory, ritual, nature, and the creative spirit, inspired by the Highlands landscape and the history of Boleskine House.

What is Offered

Selected works will be featured in a group exhibition at Boleskine House from April to June 2026, with potential inclusion in the permanent collection and promotion through the foundation's media channels.

Requirements

Only 2D works are accepted (painting, drawing, print, photography, mixed media). Artists are responsible for all shipping costs, insurance, and return labels. Selected artists must pay a £10 participation fee. Works must arrive ready to install with appropriate framing or fixings.

How to Apply

Artists must submit their personal information, an artist statement, artwork details (title, medium, dimensions, value), and a high-quality image upload via the online form at boleskinehouse.org/artcall.
