About the Open Call

The 3rd Annual Waveny Arts Festival will take place from 10am-4pm on Sunday, September 28th, 2025. The festival invites mixed media artists and artisans to apply. Festival highlights include 50 Artist & Artisan Vendors, Live Music & Entertainment, Food Trucks, Kids Crafts, and a Young Entrepreneurs Marketplace. Accepted exhibitors will be promoted through event signage, local publicity, social media, and on the Carriage Barn website. Mediums considered include Ceramics, drawing, fiber arts, glass, jewelry, leather, metalwork, painting, paper goods, photography, prints, woodwork, and locally made artisanal products (such as candles, honey, jams, oils, soaps, etc.). The Arts Festival is rain or shine, with a reschedule date of October 12 in the event of extreme weather circumstances. All work must be family-friendly and free from offensive content. Prices for all work must be clearly marked. The Carriage Barn Arts Center reserves the right to make final interpretations of all rules.

What is Offered

Exhibitors will be promoted through event signage, local publicity, social media, and on the Carriage Barn website. Opportunity to sell artwork and artisanal products at the festival.

Requirements

Open to mixed media artists and artisans. Applicants must submit up to 4 images of artwork/goods samples and 1 image of their booth setup. All work must be family-friendly and not exhibit anything that could be interpreted as racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise offensive. Current Carriage Barn Arts Center members receive reduced application and booth fees; membership must be current through September 28, 2025.

How to Apply

To apply, fill out and submit the form provided on the website. Applicants must upload up to 4 images with samples of their artwork/goods and 1 image of their booth set up with work displayed. Exhibitor acceptance notifications will be sent on a rolling basis, and acceptance is only guaranteed after payment for the booth has been received and processed.
