Warsaw Film Foundation
Established in 1985, the Warsaw Film Festival is an elite, non-specialised international film festival. It features multiple competition sections including International Competition, Competition 1–2, Documentary, and Short Films. The festival aims to promote world cinema and support both established and emerging directors. It is an Oscar®-qualifying festival for short films.
Cash prizes totaling 11,000€ across various categories, including the Warsaw Grand Prix (PLN 100,000), Best Director, and Audience Awards.
Films must have been completed on or after January 1, 2026. Specific premiere status (World, International, or European) is required for most competitive sections. Films must be submitted with English subtitles if the original language is not English or Polish.
