About the Open Call

The 'Vogued' exhibition addresses the ongoing redefinition of art, exploring the collision of traditional and new methods, including complex works generated quickly alongside traditional approaches pushed in powerful directions. It aims to showcase how contemporary artists, across all mediums, styles, and approaches, are navigating and responding to today's world. Renowned art critic and curator Mr. Tabish Khan will be the Guest of Honour, opening the exhibition on August 8th with a talk on the theme. The exhibition is an invitation for artists to connect their vision with a wider audience and join a larger conversation about the future of art.

What is Offered

Selected artists will have their work featured in a physical exhibition at Boomer Gallery in London, located in the Tower Bridge district. Benefits include printed posters, an e-catalog featuring the artist's profile permanently displayed on the gallery's website, administrative support, graphic designer services, champagne and caviar at the opening event, professional photography to document the event, and hostess, security, and bartender services. Printing and framing services for artworks are included in the participation fee for those opting for this. The gallery also facilitates direct connections between artists and collectors without charging commission on sales, and selected artists will be permanently included in the Boomer Gallery Advisory Program.

Requirements

Artists must submit three images of their work, each with title, size in cm, medium, price, and a biography of no more than 150 words. Eligible media include, but are not limited to, paintings, sculptures, photography, installations, prints, textiles, illustrations, digital art, AI-assisted art, and poems. A £189 fee applies for each selected artist to cover participation benefits.

How to Apply

To apply, email three images of your work (three different pieces) to boomergallery@gmail.com. Each image must include its title, size in cm, medium, price, and be accompanied by a short biography of no more than 150 words. Please include 'Vogued' in the subject line of your email.
