About the Open Call

Visiting Curators Vienna 2026 is an eight-edition residency program offering four international mid-career curators a ten-day immersive experience in Vienna (16–25 November 2026). The residency includes tailored introductions to local artists, institutions, and galleries, as well as strategic support for developing long-term collaborations. Travel, accommodation, and per diems are fully covered.

What is Offered

Travel costs, accommodation, and per diems are covered by Verein K, along with professional networking and logistical support.

Requirements

Applicants must be mid-career curators who have realized exhibitions in professional institutions and are planning an exhibition outside Austria within the next two years that includes Austrian-based artists. The working language is English.
