About the Open Call

The 9th edition of the Video Mapping Festival includes three major calls for entries. 1. Video Mapping International Residency: A writing and production residency in December 2025 for a work to be premiered in April 2026. 2. Video Mapping Contest: A competition on the facade of La Voix du Nord in Lille with financial prizes. 3. Video Mapping Awards: A competition rewarding the best mapping productions of 2025. The festival seeks talent in video mapping, digital arts, animation, graphic design, and sound design.

What is Offered

Selected candidates for the residency and contest receive production grants. Contest winners receive additional financial prizes. All selected works are showcased during the festival opening in Lille.

Requirements

Open to artists, professionals, and students in fields such as video mapping, audiovisual creation, animated film, digital arts, set design, graphic design, video games, music, and sound design.

How to Apply

Applicants must download specific call documents from the website and submit materials based on the track: Residency (note of intent and portfolio), Contest (storyboard and portfolio), or Awards (video recording of existing work).
