About the Open Call
VELVET is a call for works exploring the color black, characterized as both an unknowable void and a completeness of color. The exhibition is open to all traditional and non-traditional media. Participating artists receive a $50 honorarium and are eligible for $1,000 Grand Jury Awards.
What is Offered
Selected works will be exhibited at Manifest Gallery. Every exhibiting artist receives a $50 cash honorarium. One work per exhibition period may be selected for a $1,000 Grand Jury Award.
Requirements
Artists must submit original works; international eligibility; no size restrictions (unless it cannot fit in the gallery); no timeframe restrictions for when the work was made. Must arrive ready to install. Artists responsible for shipping costs.

Submit an online entry form at https://www.manifestgallery.org/season22/velvet/entry/index.html and upload digital images via the provided Dropbox link after the form submission.
