About the Open Call
The Artist of the Winter juried exhibition encourages artists working in any medium, style, and genre to submit their work. Acceptable mediums include traditional fine art, digital painting, and various crafts such as pottery and beadwork. Each participant receives a dedicated artist page on the UPWARD gallery website. The winners receive interviews for publication in the quarterly printed edition and on the website. No profanity or political artwork is permitted.
What is Offered
Digital certificates (1st, 2nd, 3rd place, Merit, Honorable Mention, Finalist), publication in the UPWARD’s Quarterly printed magazine, social media promotion, and a personal artist page on the UPWARD gallery website.
Requirements
Artists must be 18 years or older. All traditional and digital media are accepted, as well as crafts. No profanity or political artwork allowed.
How to Apply
Submit work via the UPWARD gallery website. Entry fees are $15 for a single entry, $12 for 2-4 entries, and $10 for 5 or more entries.
