University of Arkansas - Fort Smith (UAFS)
The program provides residents with workspace and access to studios in the Windgate Art & Design Building, private family-friendly living accommodations near campus, travel costs to-and-from Fort Smith, a $20,000 stipend, and a materials budget. Residents will spend approximately 70% of their time on creative production and 30% of their time engaging directly with students and the community, including workshops, public lectures, and classroom interactions. Applicants from marginalized and historically excluded populations are encouraged to apply.

Graphic Design applicants: Bachelor's Degree, and Master's Degree or five years of in-the-field experience. Studio Art applicants: Master's Degree preferred; active record of exhibitions or comparable public engagements required.
