About the Open Call

Returning for its third edition in 2026, TYAOslo provides a space for reflection, creation, and exchange. The 2026 residency explores 'Care in Artistic Spaces' as an active, negotiated practice involving responsibility and risk. Led by Vigdís Jakobsdóttir, the program includes workshops with invited artists, cross-disciplinary exchange, seminars, and the development of shared presentations for industry professionals.

What is Offered

Artistic fee of 13,000 NOK for the stay, covered travel (flights, trains), accommodation in a hostel, per diems of 600 NOK per day (with breakfast and lunch included), and tickets to residency events.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, work professionally with performing arts for young audiences (performing, writing, directing, producing, etc.), and be from or live/work in a Nordic-Baltic country (Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Estonia, Lithuania, or Latvia). Must be able to invoice privately or through a company.
