About the Open Call
TUR is offering residency spots for 2026 focusing on research, process, and reflection within the contemporary art context of Latvia. The program includes two tracks: a general international call and a dedicated call for Ukrainian artists and culture professionals. Residents are expected to work on their project in Riga and interact with the local audience through public events like talks or workshops. Slots are available for August, September, November, and December 2026.
What is Offered
Fully funded non-shared accommodation, studio space, travel cost support up to €250, and a monthly stipend of €500 for Ukrainian residents.
Requirements
Artists and art professionals (curators, researchers, educators) in contemporary art. Applicants must submit a portfolio and demonstrate a specific incentive to work in Riga. For the Ukrainian track, priority is given to those currently living and working in Ukraine.
