Tullamore Murals 2026 – 2030 Artists Panel

About the Open Call

Offaly County Council and Tullamore Tidy Towns invite applications from professional visual artists to form a panel for the delivery of large-scale exterior murals. The project aims to activate public spaces and celebrate Tullamore's heritage. Selected artists may be commissioned for works between 2026 and 2030. Successful applicants must manage site requirements, including health and safety and engagement activities.

What is Offered

Commissions ranging from €5,000 to €15,000 per mural, plus potential for long-term inclusion in a 5-year artist panel.

Requirements

Artists aged 18+; ability to hold/obtain public liability insurance (€6.5M) and employer's liability insurance if applicable; Tax Clearance Certificate required for commissions; ability to manage site logistics, traffic, and public engagement.
