AFIELD, Arts of the Working Class, and Framer Framed
The Transitional Justice with Artists (TJA) Grant supports Europe-based practitioners and communities addressing massive past abuses and systemic injustices. The program distributes six grants of €10,000 and awards a six-month fellowship including a residency in Amsterdam, publishing activities in the Arts of the Working Class street journal, and regular online thematic meetings. The call specifically seeks initiatives advancing truth-finding, truth-telling, memorialization, tangible repair, and institutional reform. The open call is capped at the first 500 submissions.
€10,000 grant (€9,000 unrestricted + €1,000 for travel/residency), six-month fellowship, published feature in Arts of the Working Class, a seven-day residency at Framer Framed in Amsterdam, and access to AFIELD’s international network.
Applicants must be legal residents (including refugees/asylum seekers) in an EU Member State or Creative Europe associated country. Must be part of an artistic initiative active for at least two years. Must be a practicing artist or cultural practitioner demonstrating community accountability and availability for the residency and online meetings.
Applications must be submitted in English via the online Jotform (https://form.jotform.com/253622127080045) before May 2, 2026, 23:59 CET. Early submission is encouraged as the call closes after 500 applications.
