Delegation of the European Union to the United States of America
The Transatlantic Stars Music Program invites mid-career EU songwriters and performers to take part in a two-week immersion into the American music ecosystem. Selected artists will collaborate with U.S. musicians, write and perform new work together, and gain direct insight into the American music industry. The program begins in Philadelphia with songwriting workshops, mentorship, and studio sessions, then moves to Washington, D.C. for a public summit showcasing the work developed during the residency.
Selected artists receive international and domestic travel, visa assistance, accommodation, meals, mentorship, studio sessions, and networking with music business professionals.
Applicants must be EU citizens with a valid passport, have performed at a qualifying music festival in the EU within the past three years, have at least five years of professional experience, and demonstrate a substantial body of released original music. English proficiency is required.
Submit the application via the online portal at https://airtable.com/appd0kNyGZCLg8JwE/pagJP3rVzFtiWasCx/form including an artist biography, publicity images, and links to recordings.
