About the Open Call

Totally Thames festival is curated and managed by Thames Festival Trust. The trust invites proposals for the 2026 festival from artists and arts organisations working in any artform, including performance, visual arts, digital, and film, as well as heritage, community, and environmental projects. All proposals must be inspired by the River Thames, its waterways, or themes of sustainability. Projects must take place in London on or around the Thames between 1–30 September 2026.

What is Offered

Marketing and promotional support, networking opportunities, inclusion in a major London cultural festival, and assistance in identifying unique river locations for selected projects.

Requirements

Projects must have funding in place or a realistic funding plan. Selected participants must provide Public Liability Insurance, a Risk Assessment, and a PRS form for live music. Projects must be located on or near the River Thames in London and align with themes of the river, waterways, or sustainability.
