Delegation of the European Union to Canada and the Global Centre for Climate Action at OCAD University
The Delegation of the European Union to Canada and OCAD University invite artists to develop original projection works for the Canada Malting Silos. Two selected artists will receive $6,000 CAD fees and have production costs covered. The work should explore themes of memory, responsibility, and collective futures, responding to the Nuit Blanche 2026 theme 'Tomorrow's Memories'.
$6,000 CAD artist fee, plus travel and accommodation for the presentation at Nuit Blanche Toronto.
Artists must reside in Canada or the European Union and hold valid documentation (passports/visas). Must have technical knowledge of projection mapping software (e.g., Resolume, TouchDesigner) and be available to travel to Toronto for Nuit Blanche (Oct 3, 2026).
Submit a single PDF document via email to eupopcanada@gopa.eu containing project title, proposal (max 500 words), artist statement (max 300 words), collaboration approach (max 200 words), CV (max 3 pages), 1 visual image, storyboard, 30-second sample video, and up to 10 minutes of past work.
