Tomelilla konsthall
The Sten Malmquist Grant is an international artist-in-residence programme awarded every second year. The residency lasts 4–6 weeks during spring 2027 and focuses on location-based artistic practice in south-east Skåne. The program facilitates artistic exchange and community interaction through workshops and public presentations. The grant covers travel, accommodation, and production costs, providing access to a studio and cultural facilities.
4–6 week residency, return economy travel, local transport and bicycle access, B&B standard accommodation, studio workspace, Wi-Fi, and production costs as per agreement.
Open to professional artists of non-Swedish nationality whose activities are primarily conducted outside Sweden. Eligible disciplines include visual arts, sculpture, textile, film, video, installation, or performance. Candidates must be open to local community interaction, including workshops and public lectures.
