Shedinburgh
The Shedload-of-Future Fund awards five £5,000 grants annually to debut performers and companies spanning theatre, comedy, music, and the performing arts at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The fund is designed to support brave, entertaining, and compelling new work that uses the Fringe as a launchpad for professional careers. Applications close on April 1st or when 150 submissions are reached.
5 x £5,000 grants. £4,500 is paid up front, and £500 is paid after the Fringe upon submission of a final report.
Must be your first time bringing a show to the Edinburgh Fringe; show must be registered for at least 10 performances; applicant must be a UK-based artist or company; work must be live, in-person, and a new piece of work performed no more than six times previously.
Submit the online Google Form which includes stages for eligibility, applicant information, project information, and equality monitoring. The application requires answering three questions (max 300 words each) regarding your show, your creative journey, and how the fund will help. Video applications are also accepted for accessibility support.
