About the Open Call

The Process Room invites artists to propose artworks or workshops focusing on themes like alternative photography, historical processes, DIY methodologies, sustainability, and community-led practices. Exhibition will be held in The Photobook Café Basement Gallery, a former darkroom space. Submissions for artworks are limited to UK-based artists due to shipping constraints.

What is Offered

Artists receive their fee and materials costs for workshops directly from ticket sales. Exhibited artworks will be displayed in The Photobook Café Basement Gallery.

Requirements

For exhibition submissions: Work must engage with the specified themes and the artist must be based in the UK. For workshop proposals: Must be entry-level, accessible to beginners, and feasible within the provided venue setup.
