About the Open Call

We invite visual artists to submit their work for consideration for solo, two-person and small group exhibition opportunities in the six professional exhibition spaces of the Phipps Galleries for the 2027-2028 season. The Phipps Center for the Arts is a multidisciplinary art center located in Hudson, Wisconsin. Artists may additionally choose to be considered for our Enriching Arts program which brings original art to community exhibition locations. Submissions will be anonymously juried based on creativity, technical skill, and overall impact. We welcome traditional and non-traditional media including painting, sculpture, digital art, photography, printmaking, drawing, fiber, ceramics, video, and installation.

What is Offered

Exhibition opportunities in the Phipps Galleries for the 2027-2028 season, or potential inclusion in the Enriching Arts community program.

Requirements

Artists must be 18 years or older, able to deliver work to Hudson, WI, and must not have exhibited at the Phipps within the past two years. Artwork must be original, new to the Phipps, and include no identifying marks for anonymous jurying. Accepted artists are responsible for delivery, installation, and deinstallation of work.
