About the Open Call

The Open Fund is a public-facing visual arts grant program providing project grants for artists in Wisconsin. We support initiatives such as exhibitions, installations, publications, events, and performances. Priority is given to collaborative projects. Applicants must be residents of Wisconsin. Grants are awarded in amounts of $5,000 and $10,000.

$180,000 total pool of grants offered in amounts of $5,000 and $10,000 to at least 18 projects.

Requirements

Projects must have a publicly accessible component and be located in Wisconsin. Artists must reside in Wisconsin. Not available for individual artists presenting exclusively their own work, projects at non-profits, or commercial galleries.
