About the Open Call

The NAF Cultural Grant Program supports projects that facilitate a high level of exchange between American and Dutch artists and scholars. Funding is available for exhibitions, performances, publications, and research projects. Applications are reviewed quarterly. Proposals for projects already completed or currently underway are not eligible for funding. Organizations or individuals who have recently received funding must wait three years before re-applying.

Grant funding for artistic and intellectual exchange projects between the US and the Netherlands.

Requirements

Projects must promote exchange between the United States and the Netherlands. Applications must be submitted at least 6 months before the funding is needed. Visual elements should be included where relevant. There is a three-year waiting period for previous grant recipients.

How to Apply

Submit a letter of intent or a full application through the NAF Submittable portal. Letters of intent are encouraged for projects at least 9 months away. Full applications must be submitted at least 6 months before the grant is required. All materials, including the budget and cover letter, must be submitted in English.
