About the Open Call

The Nature Photography Contest is an annual international photo award dedicated to showcasing the beauty of the natural world and raising awareness about environmental protection. Open to professional and amateur photographers worldwide, the contest features 10 categories including Natural landscapes, Wildlife, Macrophotography, Underwater, Birds, Plant life, Night world, Environmental impact, Sharing the planet, and Funny nature. Participants contribute to a tree-planting initiative, with the winner deciding the location of the planted trees. Prizes include a €1000 grand prize for "Photography of the Year," €100 for each category winner, personalized certificates, inclusion in the Winners Gallery, and international press and publicity. A "Photographer of the Year" also receives a trophy.

What is Offered

Cash prizes (€2,000 total, with €1000 for the Photography of the Year and €100 for each category winner), personalized certificates, showcasing in the Winners Gallery, international press and publicity, and a trophy for the Photographer of the Year. Each participant also contributes to planting a tree.

Requirements

This international photo contest is open to amateur and professional photographers alike, regardless of their professional field or location. Participants must meet the requirements in the rules, and the type of equipment used (professional camera or cell phone) does not affect eligibility.
