About the Open Call

This award focuses on artistic merit rather than theme, welcoming work across a wide range of disciplines with no conceptual restrictions. Artists are selected through a juried review process that evaluates originality, clarity of vision, and coherence of practice. In addition to the cash prize, the winner and two finalists receive international exposure through featured interviews and promotion across the award’s platforms, helping to expand their visibility within the art world.

$1,000 unrestricted cash prize

Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years or older and can apply from anywhere in the world. Submissions include up to five work samples (images and/or video links), along with an artist statement, biography, and artwork descriptions. The award accepts a broad range of contemporary practices, including painting, sculpture, photography, digital media, performance, sound, and interdisciplinary work (though short and feature-length films are not eligible). An application fee applies, with discounted early submission options.
