THE MANIFEST PRIZE: The 16th Annual Manifest Prize

About the Open Call

The Manifest Prize, now doubled to $10,000, is open to works of any media, genre, or style, with almost no restrictions on submissions. Works must have been completed within the past five years (2020-2025). A multi-round blind jury process involving up to 18 anonymous professional jurors determines the winner and four finalists. The winning work must be available for exhibition from early December through mid-January. Four runners-up will each receive $250. The $10,000 award-winning work will be unveiled at a ticketed preview event on December 11th and featured in a four-week solo exhibit. All accepted works will be documented in the Manifest Exhibition Annual publication. Artists retain 70% commission on any sales. Works must arrive gallery-ready with professional presentation and craftsmanship. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs. The gallery provides insurance for works on premises, but not during transit.

What is Offered

$10,000 cash award for the winning artist, $250 cash award for four finalist artists, solo exhibition of the winning work, publication in the Manifest Exhibition Annual.

Requirements

Open to everyone; entries must be exceptional original works of visual art, design, or high craftsmanship. Works must have been completed within the past five years (2020-2025). Works MUST be available for the exhibition period (December 12, 2025 - January 9, 2026). Accepted work must arrive ready to install, exhibit good craftsmanship, and not differ significantly from entry images. Professional-level presentation is a must. Artists must agree to make their work available and ship/deliver it to the gallery if selected for exhibit.

How to Apply

Applicants must submit an entry form online. Digital images/files must be uploaded using the Dropbox button provided after entry form submission. A link to the Dropbox will be included in the emailed copy of the entry form. Video or interactive submissions require a link to a viewable online copy of each work and a single representative JPEG image. Entry fees can be paid via PayPal (using the link provided after the online form) or by U.S. check or money order mailed to Manifest Creative Research Gallery, P.O. Box 6218, Cincinnati, OH 45206.
