About the Open Call

LUTSF supports individuals working in all areas of movement and dance who wish to travel in order to enrich their professional practice. Applications are welcomed from choreographers, performers, lecturers, teachers, writers, therapists, administrators, producers and related professionals. The award focuses specifically on travel costs that originate in and return to the UK.

What is Offered

Average scholarship of approximately £600 to cover travel-only costs (internal travel in the destination country may be included; international and domestic travel to/from departure points excluded).

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have been resident in the United Kingdom for a minimum of two years. Travel must originate in and return to the UK. Projects must take place between April 2026 and April 2027. Undergraduate students are not eligible; Master's students must have a 2-year professional track record.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted via the online form available on the LUTSF website. Required materials include evidence of planning, letters of support/invitation from the destination host, a letter of support from a professional referee, and a completed budget document.
