The International is a premier competition for portraiture and figurative art, open to all artists. Finalists are required to exhibit their original artwork and attend the Art of the Portrait conference in Atlanta for final judging. Requirements

Entries must be original designs created independently after February 2023. No AI-generated or digital creations. 2D works must not exceed 60 inches on the longest side (unframed); 3D works must be under 34 inches and weigh no more than 50 pounds. Finalists must be present at the conference with their artwork to win.

How to Apply

Submit up to three digital image files (TIFF or JPG) online. Files must be no larger than 6MB and labeled using the format: artist's last name, first initial, and entry letter (e.g., smith-j-a.jpg).
