GroundWork Gallery
The GroundWork Residency 2026 invites creative individuals of all media to explore the Wash Estuary's environment, landscapes, and heritage. The program consists of a research week (July 18-25), a period for developing work (July 26-August 8), and an exhibition series (September 12-December 19). The residency aims to connect art with the environment, providing artists with opportunities to share skills, engage with specialist networks, and showcase work at GroundWork Gallery and six other partner venues. Specialized residency hosts include support for digital artists, sound artists, and craft-based practices.
Residency stay, networking with subject specialists, field trips, collaborative research opportunities, and inclusion in a multi-venue exhibition across Norfolk and Lincolnshire.
Open to artists and creative individuals of all kinds, media, and specialisms. Practice should ideally be rooted in material-driven processes, environmental themes, or local heritage relating to the Wash Estuary.
