About the Open Call
The Elgin Group (TEG) is a loose collective of performing artists from and around the Elgin area. Chosen artists will work from May to October 2026 to produce original 30-45 minute shows that will be featured at an artist showcase in October 2026. The program includes digital recordings of performances for an online archive and marketing support. Funding is provided by Elevating Equity to support racial equity and justice for marginalized people.
What is Offered
$300 payment for the performance, digital recordings of the show, and a marketing package.
Requirements
Artists of any age and skill level are welcome but must live within 30 miles of Downtown Elgin. Artists must produce an original 30-45 minute show and assist with ticket sales and marketing.
