The Elephant Trust
The Elephant Trust aims to support new work and exhibitions that depart from the routine and signal new, distinct and imaginative sets of possibilities. The Trust was set up in 1975 by Roland Penrose and Lee Miller to help artists and art institutions complete projects when frustrated by lack of funds. Grants are usually between £2,000 and £5,000. Projects with a total budget exceeding £30,000 will not be supported.

Fine artists or small organisations/galleries. Projects must be within the UK. Project budget must be under £30,000. Not for students, group exhibitions, festivals, residencies, or research.
