The Delaplaine Arts Center
Every May, The Delaplaine hosts its National Juried Exhibition, showcasing work from artists across the country in a vast display of media. Accepted artists exhibit their work from May through July and compete for cash awards. The 2026 juror is Kyle Hackett. The competition is judged in two rounds: an initial virtual selection and a second in-person round for awards after the exhibition is installed.
Grand prize: $1,000; Second place: $500; Third place: $250; Honorable mention: $125. Selected artists are featured in a professional exhibition. Sales commission: 70% to the artist (80% for members). Artwork is insured while on display.
Open to all national artists. Artwork must be original, created within the past two years, and not previously displayed at The Delaplaine. No commercially made prints or reproductions. 2D work must be wired and ready to hang (no sawtooth hangers). Accepted artists are responsible for delivery and pickup.
Apply online through the CaFÉ (Call for Entry) portal. Applicants must provide 1 to 3 work samples as high-resolution images or videos.
