About the Open Call
A 5-day repertoire workshop (May 25th–30th, 2026) in Bucharest led by Simona Deaconescu and Simona Dabija. The workshop introduces 'The Body Image Method', a set of chrono-poetical tools that decentralize the body and explore movement research, breath work, volumetric movement, and speed modulation. The collective seeks 16 participants (10 from Romania, 6 international) to engage with the method and potentially join future projects. Participation is free and travel support is provided for international dancers.
What is Offered
Free workshop, travel and accommodation support up to 550 EUR for international participants, and potential for future professional collaboration.
Requirements
Applicants must be performers/dancers. 10 spots for Romanian dancers, 6 spots for dancers from other European countries. Priority given to those interested in potential future collaborations with the collective.
