About the Open Call

The 16th Annual Manifest Prize has increased its cash award to $10,000. This opportunity seeks exceptional original works of visual art, design, or high craftsmanship of any kind. A single winning work will receive the prize and a four-week solo exhibition in one of Manifest's five galleries. Four finalist works (runners-up) will each receive $250. The exhibition period is early December 2025 through mid-January 2026. Works must have been completed between 2020-2025. The selection process involves a rigorous multi-round, blind jury. The winning work and finalists will be documented in the Manifest Exhibition Annual publication. Artists are responsible for shipping costs, but works are insured while on gallery premises.

What is Offered

$10,000 cash award, a four-week solo exhibition, documentation in the Manifest Exhibition Annual publication, and 70% commission on sales. Four runner-up finalists each receive $250 cash award and publication.

Requirements

Entries must represent exceptional original works of visual art, design, or high craftsmanship, completed between 2020-2025. Works must be available for exhibition from early December 2025 through mid-January 2026. Accepted work must arrive ready to install and exhibit professional-level presentation and craftsmanship. Digital images/files must meet specified naming conventions and be in high-quality JPEG format (minimum 1000 pixels in any direction, 72 dpi). Video submissions require a direct link to online viewable content and a representative JPEG.
