About the Open Call

CICA Museum invites creative writers, scholars, and artists worldwide to participate in the 10th CICA New Media Art Conference 2026. The call features two main categories: Call for Papers (including presentations, workshops, and experimental sessions) and Call for Exhibitions (solo exhibition series and group showcases). Topics range from AI and digital aesthetics to environmental practices and social media. Accepted contributors must register and attend in person, and their work will be featured in the publication 'New Media Art 2027'.

What is Offered

Solo exhibition space (approx. 44 square meters), participation in a group showcase, inclusion in the 'New Media Art 2027' book publication, and professional presentation opportunities.

Requirements

Applicants must be available to attend the conference in person in South Korea. Registration is required upon acceptance. All presentation materials and publications are in English.

How to Apply

For papers, submit an abstract (300–600 words) and bio to submission@cicamuseum.com. For exhibitions, email up to 10 portfolio images, 3 video/web links, an artist statement, and bio to the same address. Use the specific subject line format provided in the call. ZIP files are not accepted.
