About the Open Call

Explore the elements of Abstraction with a community of artists worldwide. This international art competition series, hosted by Ten Moir Gallery, invites artists to share their best abstract work. Your first entry is free until December 20th, 2025. The challenge focuses on shape, gesture, texture, and emotion over realism, encouraging bold experimentation. Selected works will be gathered into a curated collection with artist names and links, providing a polished, shareable presence. Finalists receive certificates and a group feature, while top artists are highlighted with interviews and a mini-magazine spotlight. The competition aims to deliver real value to artists' CVs and to collectors, offering lasting visibility beyond the announcement. Awards include a $150 Cash Award for Best in Show, artist interviews, homepage features, free Blue Sky Artist Award entries, website features, social media posts, Art Journal Mini Spotlights, permanent listings, digital certificates, and shareable badges.

Requirements

Emerging or Established Artists 18+ years of age. Open to artist worldwide. 2D and 3D Mediums encouraged: painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and digital. You must own the rights to the work and imagery you submit.

How to Apply

Start with your free entry, adding extra images within the same application if desired. Complete the online form, providing artist name, website, artwork titles, and mediums. Upload artwork images (JPG/PNG, max 2MB, minimum 2000px longest side). Confirm submission and check your email for confirmation.
