Pyramid Atlantic Art Center
Created in honor of artist Gregory Vita, this residency offers a competitive opportunity for emerging and seasoned artists alike who hope to gain more knowledge, improve their skills, and explore new techniques in papermaking. One artist is selected each year by the Pyramid Atlantic artistic staff. Residents work in a productive community atmosphere alongside other artists and are expected to abide by all studio policies. Housing is not provided.
A three month residency in paper studio, 24 hour key access, two papermaking workshops, three four-hour lessons in other studios, storage space, and use of shop supplies.
Prior experience in papermaking is required. Projects may include papermaking, pulp painting, paper sculpture, paper marbling, book arts, or printmaking. Pyramid Atlantic Board members, staff, and artistic associates are not eligible.
