About the Open Call

The Street Photography Barcelona Contest (SPBC) was created with the aim of giving international visibility to photographers who work in street photography. The festival offers physical and virtual exhibition spaces where works can be seen, appreciated, and acquired. Winners are showcased at Galerie Art Nomade in Barcelona and through screenings in Ibiza in collaboration with Ibizacinefest. The contest is led by Xavi Herrero and ensures professional curation through a selection committee including Olivier Verdier.

What is Offered

€1,500 in total cash prizes (€500 for the overall winner, €250 for two special mentions). 25 finalists receive a 6-day exhibition in Barcelona and screenings in Ibiza. The overall winner receives a European flight and hotel for the Ibiza presentation. Workshops and talks are also included.

Requirements

Open to both professional and amateur photographers working in street photography with honesty and creativity.
