About the Open Call

Strange Figurations is an open call for all forms of surreal, visionary and extraordinary figurative art. Selected artists will be featured in a group exhibition at the Limner Gallery from September 3 - 26, 2026. The exhibition is open to all national and international artists 18 or older working in any media. Works in the show may be exhibited for sale or not for sale; the gallery takes a 35 percent commission on all sales.

What is Offered

Exhibition in a group show at Limner Gallery, online gallery exposure, and promotional social media support.

Requirements

Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Wall mounted works must not be taller than 72" or wider than 120". Sculptural work must fit through a 36" wide entry door. Submissions require payment of entry fee.

How to Apply

Submit entries via email following the provided guidelines, including JPG image files or links for video works. Payments must be made at time of entry via credit card, PayPal, or Venmo.
