Stove Works
Stove Works' Artist Residency invites eight Artists to live/work for one to three months at a time, from February through November each year. The facility includes private studios, bathrooms, and communal spaces. The program encourages participation in visiting critic sessions, artist presentations, and open studios. Fellowships are available for BIPOC sculptors and writers through partner organizations. Applications are accepted annually.
Private living and studio space, facility access (wood/metal/print shops), professional development, and potential fellowship stipends.
Artists must provide a transaction number for the application fee. Accepted artists are responsible for travel, materials, and food, and must provide a $100 refundable security deposit and a book donation.
Applications are submitted through the Stove Works website when the portal is open (May 15 to June 15). Applicants must note their transaction number and submit within the designated fee timeframe.
