AND London
AND London, on behalf of Barratt London, is inviting artists and creative practitioners to submit proposals for permanent public art installations at Springfield Village. The project aims to create site-specific works that enhance the locality and create a cultural legacy, particularly reflecting the site's history with St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust. The commission includes a requirement for community engagement and the potential reuse of recycled building materials from the site demolition. The budget covers design, fabrication, and installation.
A total budget of £95,000 inclusive of artist fees, materials, expenses, fabrication, and installation costs.
Applicants must be based in the UK, demonstrate experience or interest in participatory/socially engaged practice, and have a proven track record in designing and overseeing the installation of permanent public art. Valid Public Liability Insurance and the right to work in the UK are required.
Applicants must email a single PDF (max 15MB) to springfieldvillage@andlondon.net by midnight on 11 January 2026. The submission should include an Artist Statement, CV, Bio, Project Delivery and Implementation plan (max 4 pages), examples of past work (max 2 pages), a full budget, and confirmation of eligibility including public liability insurance and right to work in the UK.
