About the Open Call

McLean Project for the Arts is seeking solo exhibition proposals for the Spring of 2026/2027. Contemporary living artists working in the Mid-Atlantic Region are invited to submit exhibition or project proposals to be on display in one of our 5 galleries. The dates for the exhibitions will be from April 30 - June 13, 2026, and Spring 2027 TBD. Exhibition proposals will be reviewed by the curatorial team of the McLean Project for the Arts. All works must fit through an 81” x 64” doorway. A 30% sales commission will be retained by MPA on all sales resulting directly from the exhibit.

What is Offered

$500 honorarium and a solo exhibition; 70% artist commission on sales.

Requirements

Artists must be living and working in the Mid-Atlantic Region; exhibition works must fit through an 81” x 64” doorway.
