Spokane Watercolor Society
The Spokane Watercolor Society invites artists living in the United States to submit original water-soluble media works for their 2026 National Juried Show. Eligible media includes watercolor, gouache, acrylic, casein, or ink on paper or illustration board. The show features both traditional and contemporary framing styles. Selected works will be exhibited at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC) from May 8 to June 14, 2026. Submissions must have been completed after January 1, 2024.
Cash awards: First Place $600, Second Place $400, Third Place $300, Juror’s Choice $100, and two Honorable Mentions $100 each. Artists receive an 80% commission on sales.
Open to artists 18+ residing in the United States. Works must be original water-soluble media on natural fiber paper or illustration board. Visible painting area must be 8" to 30". No AI-generated images. Specific framing requirements apply, including white/off-white mats and acrylic glazing (no glass). Works must remain for the duration of the exhibition.
Applications must be submitted online through the CAFÉ (Call for Entry) website, including digital images of the artwork and payment of the entry fee.
