What is Offered

Shortlisted filmmakers receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California, to attend an awards ceremony and a bespoke industry immersion program. Requirements

Film submissions must adhere to specific length requirements per category: Fiction and Non-Fiction (5-20 minutes), Animation (2-20 minutes), Student (5-20 minutes), and Future Format (2-5 minutes). The Student category is open to filmmakers studying a film course at a registered institution worldwide. The Future Format category specifically requires films created for vertical viewing (9:16 aspect ratio), which can be shot on any device and be of any genre.
