OHME
SOLAR FUTURES is a Creative Europe-supported collaboration that supports transdisciplinary artistic practices imagining alternative, desirable futures. The call seeks individual artists to create works in three specific formats: Physical Installation (Renewable Energy and Circular Resources), Screen-Based Experience (Permacomputing and Digital Sobriety), and Live Performance (New Imaginaries for Political and Societal Organisation). Selected artists will participate in a four-phase residency across Brussels, Rennes, and The Hague, concluding with a premiere at a partner venue and a collective exhibition at LEV Festival 2027.
€9,000 artist fee (including subsistence), travel and accommodation for all residency phases and presentations, up to €6,000 in production costs, professional video and photo documentation, and mentorship from leading cultural organizations.
Applicants must be professional individual artists who are permanent residents of one of the 37 Creative Europe eligible countries. They must be proficient in English, able to issue invoices, and available for all residency phases between May 2026 and February 2027.
Applicants must submit an online form via Tally (https://tally.so/r/zxMy21) including a CV, a portfolio of the 5 most relevant works, visual materials illustrating the proposal, and a provisional production budget.
